Need Help Ripping

Hello, First off I am sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place...I have been looking for a samsung drive (for my pc) that's already flashed, but I've found out that they are really a pain to find. The ones that I did find are really expensive, so can anyone direct me in the right direction possibly to find one already flashed the one I found was ~80 U.S $... there was one for around 50$ in ebay but the shipping is really expensive because it comes from Australia, and I'm based in the U.S.
Also another option that I would consider if its not difficult is flashing it myself (I have no prior knowledge on flashing whatsoever,but I hear that this is fairly simple). I have been browsing the forums, and I don't think that I've found one dedicated to specifically flashing these drives. Mebby im looking in the wrong place... Again It's just the flashing for the pc drives so that I can rip my own games an aquaitance of mine already flashed my console .

Well firstly, you dont want to buy a pre flashed drive, they sell for much more... Flashing a drive is a very common thing to do, and all PC drives are very easily flashed. Console drives are not ment to be flashed with FW by the average user, so they are much harder to flash. So dont think flashing will be hard to do, all you do is download a file from xbins, open it, select your drive, and click flash. It takes a couple seconds, and you DO NOT need any special hardware (via card etc...)

Awsome, thanks a lot. I've been doing more research. I just ordered the B drive, and I got the firmware just need to wait for my drive to get here. Again thanks for the info... oh one more thing, does the whole backup process work with windows vista or is it only for windows xp?
