HELP: Can I put 100GB Seagate hd to replace a working 20GB?

I have a Seagate 100GB laptop HD and was wondering in I could swap it for the stock 20GB and then transfer all the data from it (it's not much) to the new one. I have DIYGadget connectivity kit v2 that has a drive attachment (that I haven't ever used, as I only used the other board in the kit for flashing drives
I could not find any tutorials on that subject,
Any help would be appreciated

In a word....NO....not possible...you are constrained to 20 60 or 120 GB currently as the size for replacement.

Shootsteel isn't completely right. You can use any size hard drive but it must be of a certain model. Currently the program you need will only support WD BEAS, BEVS, and a few other BE model drives. Here's the problem. You are limited to whatever size bin you get from your original drive. So if you originally have a 20GB drive then no matter how big the replacement drive is you'll only be able to use 20GB. Let me know if you would like more info.

So, in other words my Seagate 100GB is worthless here? How do people put 60GB or 120GB drives in ther units then?
I was hoping to somehow be able to have a bit more space
Also, I don't care that much about what I curently have on the 20GB, But I guess that's not an issue. It's what software the original xbox 360 unit has? Or what software comes on a 360 60GB, or 120GB, right.

you have to have a ssbin for your HD
if you have a 20gb sshd.bin then you would be able to use 20gb
if you have a 60gb sshdbin then you could use 60gb and so on
but
if you have a 20gb ssbin and put in on a 60gb HD you will only be able to use 20gb

people find a way to get a 60 or 120 gb sshd bin and use that
but it gets into stuff we dont do much here

To add on to what Cofree said. If you happen to find a 120GB hddss.bin file then you could buy a WD BEVS series 120GB 2.5" drive and flash the bin you found into it with HDDHackr1.0 from "The Specialist". It's a nerve racking process or at least it can be. The drive I mentioned is only about 50 bucks shipped from newegg as compared to 150 from M$.

Im pretty sure you can buy microsoft HDD cases aswell, so you can keep the 20 gig in tact, and just put the 120 in a new case, and stick that on top of your 360
