Problems writing liteon

Hi All,
This is my first flash...a liteon, it did the hang up on writing in jf (i'm guessing this is common?)
so i have made a bootable fash and gone thru the steps on cofree's tut vid,
i erase fine then when it comes to write...it hangs on writing bank 0

the flash is loaded with lite_cfw
the drive is in vendor

it's been pissing me off for 2 days now :roll: :lol: :lol: :lol:

any ideas??

Rename it to litcfw.bin and try again.

Cheers dude that worked.....another prob now tho,
wont recognise, originals only dvd's..i dont have any back up yet as i was trying the flash just to "see if i could" :twisted:

Oh oh..If you've flashed a non valid key into it and don't have a correct backup containing the right one then the console is now a pretty pricey dvd player.

it's all good just a bad flash, i did have the orig key so i i took it back to jf
and started all over, thanks for help 8-)

Phew nice one and crisis averted. Good job mate. Ps it's always worth emailing yourself the backup and copying it onto a disc just in case the drive knacks up and you need it in the future and can't find it/delete it/hard drive goes kaput etc.

If its a personal xbox, I like to take scotch tape, and write the key on it, then tape my key to my wind tunnel. That way you have a physical copy of the key, so if your HDD corrupted, and the internet completely went down, your still in luck ;)

I lied, not scotch tape, masking tape is what I use.
