Flashing lite-on 74 cant get keys help?

i have it hooked up by usb to serial can someone help me with this i am using iprep 10.7

is probe in r707?
are you using via card?
is liteon tray half open?
what errors are you getting?
all or some of this info will help us determine problem mate

i believe for iprep you need to use the RS232 serial cable not usb.usb is for jf

Yeah you will need an rs232 9 pin cable to dump your key in iprep as the usb lead is for windows based dumping ie JF.

Sas is right, there are no drivers for USB in dos...

Either give it a whirl with jungleflasher or get a serial cable to do it with iprep.

if my memory is right 10.7 does say that you cant use a usb - serial. it shows that message just after you have type l74

yea i got the ck3 lite with the probe.
i am using an on board sata.
yup tryed a million times.
warning serial key is bad i get a bunch of 00000000000000000

and about jf yea i put the probe in the r707 point and no luch i get a bad key everytime so i tryed iprep did the same and yea
did see that msg but how does he do it in the tut he has the ck3 pro aint that a RS232 to usb

so if i use the com port it will read it? is my probe suppost to show up in property's?? just a noob question

If u are affraid of using windows to do the flash then just use jf to get your info from the drive
Once u have the info, spoof with the lite on 1.6 repack firmware
Then click save to file and rename it
litcfw.bin
Once done use iprep 9 and make a bootable flash
Open up the flash and open the BACKUPS folder
Create a new folder in the BACKUPS folder called 1234567 and open up that and make another folder called 12345
Then place the litcfw.bin firmware u just made in there
So it should look like BACKUPS/1234567/12345/litcfw.bin
Now boot into iprep and type flit 1234567 12345 and press enter
Follow the on screen instructions from there and you will have the drive flashed in no time
