i've a philips liteon dg-16d2s.
i was looking for the tutorial to hack this drive, but i'm not able to choose wich one is correct for my drive, because each tutorial is for only a version of liteon and i don't know what is the version of my liteon or where i can found it.

Could someone help me?

Look for the firmware. It will be printed on the drive sticker and will say 83850c or 74850c, aka 8 series and 7 series (respectively)

i've seen that in the videotutorial Shootsteel use windows xp. i've windows 7 64 bit. does flashing procedure work or not with my OS?
