How do I flash this drive, is it the same exact method as hitachi 79?
Do I need a slax disc?

You dont need the unlock disc like you do for the 79 and it depends on if you've got a ck3 and which program your using. If you're planning on using jungleflasher then it can put your hitachi into modeB without the slax disc but if you're using firmware toolbox then either use slax or jungle (or the modeB button if you have a ck3) to get it into modeB. If its been flashed before it will need to be restored first.

I am going to use jungle flasher, and I do have a connectivity kit that has a mode B button.... is there a tutortial someplace for a 46... i can only ever find 79/78...
