Wii system update with drivekey

Hi

I recently tried to play my backup of sonic and mario at the winter games, my wii tried to initiate a system update I am currently running on 3.1e. Does anyone know if this will be ok to install and will be ok with drivekey?

if all your worried about is the drivekey working, it will work. The thing you have to watch is if you have homebrew installed. Namely the homebrew channel. the newer system menu updates will delete it along with bootmii if its installed as well.

If you have a DRIVEKEY chip installed, then there is no problem with the "update" function from Mario vs Sonic @ Winter Olympic Games - the update works
