Bad SS?

I'm trying to make my first backup (xbox arcade) and I'm having some issues.

I followed the tut here w/xbox backup creator and when finished it reads complete. But the size is 7.29 GB (7,835,492,352 bytes) and when I check the SS is reads its bad. If I check the SS on the disc its good though. I've tried 4 times to rip it with all programs turned off and I still get a bad rip. I have splitvid checked. Am I doing something wrong?

You might could use dvd mulleter to pull the ss.bin from the disk, then check it to make sure that its good, then inject it into your image file with mulleter. Then as a safe gaurd, pull the ss.bin from the image file and run it through kreon checker again and make sure it passes.

what are you checking with the ss checker.

ive had to dump 3 or 4 times before.
restart the computer clean the disc.try again is all i can say
they say you dont have to worry about it now with the new firmware,but i still dump till i get a good ss rip when dumping.

To check it I was using Kreon Checker.

How do I use dvd mulleter to pull the ss.bin from the disk? I checked for a tut but I may have missed it.

Sorry about that, I meant to say use Xbox Backup Creator to pull the SS.BIN from the disk. Just open XBCr, click the drive tools tab, make sure your kreon drive is selected in the drop down, then click the Security Sector button, if its grayed out, you might have to Unlock Drive to get it to do it.

So I went under image tools and checked the image I created and saved the SS. I checked it in Kreon Checker and it says its good. I went under image and not drive, does that mean that the rip is good?

If you pulled the ss.bin from the image and it said it was good, it's good to go as long as XBCr and mulleter says it passes stealth checks
