latest benq method to flash?

trying to find out what is the latest way to flash my benq wit xcalber......do i still need to cut & trace point to work and make the switch in order to flash my drive....or isss there a new methhod witout doing these soldering....plzz let me know not good wit soldering.....wanna get started but process is slowing me down...dont wanna mess up my 360.....

yehh it a great video...but it doesnt say if i still got cut and trace the points and solder...tha wha i wanna know.....am confused there....have read the guides and only seen the solder and switch...been read threads and still confused if i still gotta do the switch mehtod

No man. There are no more cutting, tracing or soldering. Everything is done with software now. The tutorial shows exactly what need to be done. Let us know if you need any clarification on anything. I didn't mean to be rude before, we try to be as beginner friendly as possible.

been reading alot about the blaster 360... is there a better 1 of these kits that work good cuz i see there alot of problem wit the blaster.....any 1 found sumthing that works...plz let me know....just ordered the sata card u guys told me about..

i like my blaster.
the thing is you dont need to flash your first time with a blaster.
It will just be one more thing that will give you a hard time.
the first time just flash it without the blaster.

yeh i was looken at it on the this website just wanna make sure it works for the benq cuz it only sayed drives Hitachi and Samsung unthing about the benq.....is Blaster 360 NEXT EDITION any better then the older 1.....?

it will work but i like the v1 better.
you dont power the 360 dvd drive with the console.
you use a computer power supply.i think that is better.

been reading about backing up games but found the guide but it doesnt say anything about a benq is there a updated guide been trying to find it but cant find it...only option i been going for i guess is to buy the korean drive.....to back up the games.....any suggestions found this drive for sale ( Kreon v1.0 Samsung SH-D162D DVD-Drive **The NEW D162C ) will this work for my benq or i have to get a certain drive........

you can flash a firmware in the benq that will let you dump a game.
most of us dont do this because you have to flash back and forth.one flash for dumping and then flash back to play your backup.
the sh-d162c dvd drive is still the best way to make a backup

yeh i see wha u talken about have to flash it bakc would rather just by the drive and instill in in my desktop...do u guys know of a good place to get 1......tha comes from a good source dont realy trust plps on ebay had badd experince wit it.....so when i get the drive i just follow the same steps as on the guide i got....
