onboard via8237 help

im going to flash a liteon with a via 8237 onboard sata,ive got the ck3 pro aswell.i need a bit of help with the drivers etc,im worried about freezing as ive got to use usb.do i disable anything or uninstall drivers or what? thats what im not sure about.there is x2 sata ports and they are both empty.any help would be great and i thank in advance..

it could give you trouble man
but
its my understanding that
the repoll on a via pci card is what causes the lock up problem
I dont think it will try to repoll the sata port onboard your mother board

but
if it does lock up on you
you could have a hard time because iprep may not be able to use that via chipset

Im not sure what i would do in your place man.

well i would get the via6421a ir l sata card and do it with iprep
that is what i would do
if it locks up you will have to get it

update for anyone with the same chipset..ive successfully flashed 3 liteons and spoofed hitachi into a liteon console with no freezing issues at all.ive been using jungle flasher 1.55 as this seems more stable for my setup and also usb instead of serial..
couldnt be happier..Thanks for any advice ive receaved from here,great site.
