I've done all that before.

I was just hoping that someone knew how to test if a probe was good or not.

Is there anyway for me to check if my probe is bad? Seems to light up only in R707 hole as its suggested to work but I cannot seem to pull keys using it.

I'm thinking it may be the probe.

Yeah the key is showing all CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC in CK3, I believe in JF as well.

6421, got it from Fry's for about $20. Flashed a Hitachi and Beng with it no issues.

What's the work around? Box does not read originals so I just assume its done. I was able to read the FW in JF recently and it pulled the key as all F's as well. I think its bricked...
