If i don't have a CK, and leave the drive connected on the X360, i just power on/off with the main switch as usual ? Or do i need to disconnect the power wire in the back of the drive or the X360? I did a BenQ a few days ago. It was my first flash. I would also recommend going with iPrep 10.7. It was a piece of cake following CoFree's video. Thats the card you need, you plug it into your motherboard upside down, so the top of the card faces the bottom of your case. I could plug it in upside down and everything would be okay? If so, that's great. My mobo is on the left side of the PC and the card looks to have the connector on the right...

I was getting ready to order the VIA but it looks like the connector to connect to the PC is on the right side. I would need the connector on the left side. Anyone know where to find one?

Thanks for the input but none of my onboard SATA ports would recognize the BenQ. I tried with iPrep and Jungle Flasher. Looks like I'll be ordering the VIA controller.
