Re: BenQ flashing using Iprep 10.7
Thanks guys for your input, much appreciated !! But all this lead me to another question then. If i don't have a CK, and leave the drive connected on the X360, i just power on/off with the main switch as usual ? Or do i need to disconnect the power wire in the back of the drive or the X360? Thanks ...

Re: BenQ flashing using Iprep 10.7
I did a BenQ a few days ago. It was my first flash. I would also recommend going with iPrep 10.7. It was a piece of cake following CoFree's video. When I flashed the BenQ I didn't have to open the tray half way at any time. I just power cycled the drive when it told me to and that was all. I should ...

Re: E66 Samsung
I tried it again. But this time it didn't ask me if I wanted to spoof it. Anyway I can still spoof it? EDIT: Just an update. I got it to work. I had to restore the Samsung's OFW with Jungle Flasher. It wouldn't let me restore it in iPrep. It would automatically spoof the OFW to ms28. I then flashed ...

E66 Samsung
I tried to flash a 360 with iXtreme 1.6 on a Samsung. Everything was successful, but when I hook the 360 up I get an E66 error with a red light flashing on the lower right. I have the backup folder from iPrep 10.7 with two files in it. "SAMOFW.bin" and "SAMCFW.bin" Anything I can...

Re: Noob Needing Help
Thats the card you need, you plug it into your motherboard upside down, so the top of the card faces the bottom of your case. I could plug it in upside down and everything would be okay? If so, that's great. My mobo is on the left side of the PC and the card looks to have the connector on the right...

Re: Noob Needing Help
I was getting ready to order the VIA but it looks like the connector to connect to the PC is on the right side. I would need the connector on the left side. Anyone know where to find one?

Re: Noob Needing Help
Thanks for the input but none of my onboard SATA ports would recognize the BenQ. I tried with iPrep and Jungle Flasher. Looks like I'll be ordering the VIA controller.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Re: Noob Needing Help
Thanks for the reply. I installed iPrep9. When I switched to IDE based the ATA channel 1 was the first controller selected, but the primary port was"N/A." Here is a screenshot for one of the controllers: http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/2144/iprep2.jpg And another for a different controlle...

Noob Needing Help
Hello! Just joined here, but I've been visiting the site regularly doing some research before I flash my 360 drive. I couldn't decide to put this topic here or in the "Beginners" section so I just posted here. I'm looking to flash my BenQ drive. I know how to crack open the 360 and get the...
