It's funny, I dl'ed the NTFS4DOS software from 360mods.net. When I dl'ed using my notebook, it came up fine, as an iso and I just burned it using nero. But when I was trying earlier from my desktop, for some reason the exact same file was being saved as a rar file with the contents of the disk in it...

Well, my desktop can't boot for USB for some reason (even though I changed the settings in BIOS to boot from the flash drive, it wouldn't...like it just wasn't there). Anyway, I was able to successfully flash my BenQ using NTFS4DOS boot CD and using my C: drive to hold the iPrep. Now, my question is...

I've burned Assassin's Creed twice now, with the same result. The disc just loads endlessly in the console...just a black screen. When I look at the disc in my computer's dvd drive, it has both a video_ts and audio_ts folders, just like a dvd. Did I burn it wrong? I used Imgburn, using the .dvd file...

Ok, so I got the sata card, the cable, d/l'ed the FW for my drive (BenQ), opened up the 360. Found out that my desktop cannot boot from USB. So, next option is NTFS4DOS, right? Well, I downloaded it from this site. But, when un-rared, there isn't an iso to burn, they're just a bunch of files. Where ...

Sounds like I'll have to get in there and try it. If I fail, and mess up the drive, can I replace it with another trype of drive? If so, which drive would you recommend and how would I do that?

The soldering points seem very tiny and close together! I'm afraid that the solder will touch two pins at the same time and am hesitant to start. Is there a soldering iron available that has a very thin tip? The tutorial seems a bit confusing, can anyone provide any better information as to the best...
