And I stream tons of video to my box, even after getting banned. I dont use media center or anything. Just stream from the shared folder on my PC.

Its supposed to be better hardware wise. Is that true? I heard someone refer to it as the next-gen 360, but I doubt its that. Its just a better chip heat and power wise isnt it?

Whats the advantages of the new machine? And so far, has the drive been flashable? (though I'll be waiting awhile and using my banned 360 to play my backups offline)

Everything went perfectly once I got the drive to mount in XP

The connectivity kit LEDs arent working, which threw me off a little, but I got everything up and running

The drive flashed just as described and is working well.

In order to do flash the 59DJ, what programs do I need?

My brother-in-law bought my niece this for Christmas.

I watched them play it....its interesting.

All in all, seems to work pretty well, just not my type of game.

I have a Hitachi 360 I may try thats brand new in the box, but am I going to run into the same issues as the m25 with the drive getting weak and such?

Its got a MFR date of 2005-11-25

I have yet to crack it open to check the version number cuz Im dreading getting the version I'd have to solder.

Are there BenQ replacement drives available?

Granted I havent dug very hard, but I saw none on Ebay.

Update: I just modded a friends brand new out of the box BenQ. (excellent video btw cofree on the IPrep/BenQ flashing) Every disc I had burned in testing my older ms25 drive, worked flawlessly and quiet in his box. So, that should rule the discs and burning methods out as the issue and points at the...
