Post by Darth_Gollum »

Hi everyone... My xbox gets the 3 lights so I want to unflash it so I hope had waranty yet... the thing is I don't know how to unflash it... I flashed with Iprep V.008.8 1.5 def and after 1.5.1... I have the theory that I have to replace the original and the custom firmware... I have the backup folders save in my pc.... what's next?

well man
we need a little more info

the big thing is what kind of dvd drive is it.

If its a lite-on
there is no going back
there is no orig lite-on firmware to flash back in.

but
if its not then yea we should be able to get the back orig.

to get it to stock

get a copy of your orig firmware
rename it to
"bencfw.bin"

do this
make a iprep boot flash with RHPG Iprep v009
in the backup folder make a folder named 1234567
then in that folder make a folder named 12345
in there put the firmware you want to flash in.It needs to renamed to ' bencfw.bin "
with out the " " of course
this would be a copy of your orig firmware that you rename.
then just flash it in like normal
boot on the flash and run the flash command
fben 1234567 12345

that will flash in a copy of your orig firmware.
done
if you have any more question just post up. ;)

I got a new question... The thing is this... I didn't get waranty so I buy another one... the problem is it comes with a Lite-On drive and i don't know how to flash lite on... my question is... can I change my BenQ drive to this xbox (it is unflashed right now) and then flash it or what?

Not without dumping the key from the liteon which will require a probe or solder/bridge which makes it kind of pointless as if you've done all that you might as well finish flashing the Liteon.
