Help with unflash
Hi everyone... My xbox gets the 3 lights so I want to unflash it so I hope had waranty yet... the thing is I don't know how to unflash it... I flashed with Iprep V.008.8 1.5 def and after 1.5.1... I have the theory that I have to replace the original and the custom firmware... I have the backup folders save in my pc.... what's next?
Re: Help with unflash
well man
we need a little more info
the big thing is what kind of dvd drive is it.
If its a lite-on
there is no going back
there is no orig lite-on firmware to flash back in.
but
if its not then yea we should be able to get the back orig.

Re: Help with unflash
Sorry... I'm OK it is a BenQ DVD Drive
Re: Help with unflash
to get it to stock
get a copy of your orig firmware
rename it to
"bencfw.bin"
do this
make a iprep boot flash with RHPG Iprep v009
in the backup folder make a folder named 1234567
then in that folder make a folder named 12345
in there put the firmware you want to flash in.It needs to renamed to ' bencfw.bin "
with out the " " of course
this would be a copy of your orig firmware that you rename.
then just flash it in like normal
boot on the flash and run the flash command
fben 1234567 12345
that will flash in a copy of your orig firmware.
done
if you have any more question just post up.

Re: Help with unflash
Not without dumping the key from the liteon which will require a probe or solder/bridge which makes it kind of pointless as if you've done all that you might as well finish flashing the Liteon.
