The new lite-on ixtreme FW works for the old drives as well as the new drives. Don't use the olde lite-on ixtreme with the new drives though.

What about Iprep ? I carnt get JF working so how would it work in Iprep peeps ? If its possible could someone kindly put up a vid tut. Saves me buying a CK3 and Probe thats all. Ive got another Benq coming tomorow from Ebay, was 28 pound brand new. Its my new console that has the Liteon.

It wouldn't work in iprep in its current state. And unfortunatley, Klutsh has retired from the scene. It would take a new version of iprep to work with the 83850c's.

I think hes about to come back to the scene again and is working on a new iprep for this new drive
