Question about unreadable discs

Everything went perfectly once I got the drive to mount in XP

The connectivity kit LEDs arent working, which threw me off a little, but I got everything up and running

The drive flashed just as described and is working well.

the lights dont work at all
it should be one color for modeB and a different color for non-modeB.

Trying to decide if its even worth the trouble to excahnge it

I wouldn't worry about it if everything works but the lights. If your familiar with how it works, you don't really even need the lights. But not everyone is like me so if you light having the lights, then I would exchange it.
