Connectivity kits cable connection

Post by dalecheesy »

Just a short one which may save you frying your drive.

When connecting the dvd lead please make sure to align the raised splines on the plug into the notches in the drive as if it's plugged in upside down there is a high probability of burning your ck3/drive out.

i agree thanks for pointing it out. Sometimes i will even go as far as putting a dot on one side of the plug with a magic marker just to make sure i dont screw up .

This might be the place to ask this, but with the CK3 and Probe, you get one green power cable and then the blue cable with probe. Do you have to switch the cables out when flashing different drives? Or can I always use the blue cable with the probe?

Thanks!!
