So here's my problem, I decided it was time to update to 1.61, and did everything like one normally does. Installed iPrep 10.7, along with the new ixDef. Downloaded the BenQ 1.61 iX FW. Loaded it up on iPrep, and formatted my USB drive to 32 Bit. Restarted. Rebooted from the USB Drive. No problems so far.
Well, here's what happens, when I get to the MTK Vendor part, I press "Y" Turn off, turn on the 360. But my drive is still not detected. It stays at 0x7F and does not change. If i connect the SATA cable to the other port I get 0x80 but it doesn't change as well. So I'm doubting my VIA card is bad or anything since it detects just fine on Windows 7 64 OS.
I checked Cofree's video when modding the BenQ (By the way, thanks for your amazing videos! These are really helpful.) and noticed he used the C3K. His instantly got recognized. I've followed word for word on the tut, and even tried different power on/off combinations. Even the half-tray powering on, but nothing gets detected.
What can I possibly do? I'm stumped this time. not sure if its because It's been a looong time (About 7 months) since I've flashed or what. But this is turning out to be a nightmare.
I used to use the 008 iPrep in order to flash to iXtreme 1.6 which worked without a hitch at detecting my DVD Drive.
Oh and for extra info, I'm using the original 360 Power Brick + Video Cables to power on the 360 and the DVD Drive this way. I have this VIA SATA Card:

Thanks for any help guys! And I apologize for the really long post, but I feel that it's better to be as informative as possible.
