Re: BLU RAY Drive problem
Actually i got it used as is, off of a trade for an old laptop i had lying around. I figured it would just be the lens, ive yet to find just the motor, its built onto a small board, theres no wires so i cant check to see if its getting power.

BLU RAY Drive problem
My PS3 stopped reading discs, so i opened it up to see, if maybe it was the laser lens not working, but when i opened it up and watch the disc load, the motor isnt soinning the discs. Would this happen if the lens was bad? I dont see how a bad lens would cause the motor not to spin, since I thought ...

I dont have a hard drive for my XBOX 360, i bought it without one and it sux because i cant save any of my games so it makes it pointless to play them right now. My question is,instead of buying a 20GB or 120GB for the 360, can i just use an external hard drive that runs off of the USB port? Will it...

Re: benQ and via 6421 0xFF error
I had the same problem with the BenQ last week when i tried to flash, 0xFF and nothing else. Cofree and me went back and fourth and nothing, so after a few unsuccessful trys, i started some research. I looked into msinfo to see my port addresses, and i read how to calculate them, and the on a piece ...

Re: Where does the dumped firmware go?
When i use FW Tool box to check them, i get a good key out of CFW, but in OFW its something like 00000000FFFFFFFFF.
When i try to copy OFW it starts but then gives this error: Cannot copy BENQ-OFW: Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
What do u think?

Where does the dumped firmware go?
where does the dumped firmware go, so that i can back it up? I used a floppy, and i see the backups folder and the CFW folder. When i try to copy the OFW from backups, it gives me an error, but it lets me copy the CFW. But dont i need the OFW?
