Hopefully sombody here can help me, was flashing a lite 74 when pc crashed when erasing so i am know trying to run the l-o-eras command in dos but keep getting status ffff. well i finally got round to doing the lite-on 8 drive tonight and all went well, the erase command in jungleflasher worked after 2 attempts so thank god for that.

If its stock benq i dont think you do teh half open tray m8, maybe wrong but sure you just hit benq unlock

You do not use the probe on the new drive.

I have always found pioneer drives very good, the 116 and 117 have always been my faves and never had any problems with them,

You should be fine with a floppy m8, i have to do all my dos flashing from floppy as cant get pc to boot from usb drive.

This has just been posted up on another forum i use, think chap is going to report back on flashing status so will inform all when i hear.

Yip you can create the cfw with jungleflasher then use iprep to write it to drive. I had to do it this way last week after i bricked my lite-on when pc crashed.

i'll second that, best place to buy just now is dealextreme. Only down side is shipping times can sometimes take a while.

If you are looking for a card i would say go for the acekard had about 20 of them for family and freinds and not a problem with any of them.

Would like to say thanks to CoFree for his super video that helped my flash my first 360 and that also brought me to this forum.
Looking foward to reading up on posts and hopefully leanr a few things and try and help if i can.
